RenoVō® CASE #8: WOOD PANEL ACCIDENT
This horse kicked through wood panel injuring a hoof. Unfortunately, many multiple treatments garnered little help with healing the injury.
On June 25, 2018, 1.0 - 3.0 cc of RenoVō® allograft was implanted at the injury site. After a few short months of recovery, this horse was back racking at Remington Park, Oklahoma in February 2019.

RenoVō® CASE #6: UNHEALTHY HOOF
patient: JETTA
Jetta, a barrel horse, foundered a few years before her owners purchased her. The new owners spent two years, with the help of a vet and corrective shoeing, trying to grow a healthy hoof. For over two years, Jetta could not grow a hoof. Finally, a vet implanted RenoVō® and after 20 days, she grew 3/4 of an inch of brand-new hoof. Jetta is shoed and running back in the arena!
RenoVō® CASE #5: CATTLEGUARD INCIDENT
Wintertime can be hazardous for horses. Snow covered grounds make it impossible to see the possible dangers lurking under the snow. This proved to be the case with Snowball who ended up trapped in a cattleguard. A local welder had to come disassemble the guard to release the horse.
On February 27th, 2.0 - 3.0 cc of RenoVō® allograft was implanted on the injury site. In just a few short weeks, the wound was healing remarkably.

RenoVō® CASE #4: SHOE BOIL
Shoe boils are common wounds caused by the heel of the hoof or the heel of a horseshoe rubbing into the elbow while your horse is laying down.
This horse had a shoe boil that would not heal. His owner tried, unsuccessfully, for over a year to heal the boil. On August 25th, RenoVō® allograft 3.0 cc was implanted and the below is the documented healing progression.

Accidents happen all the time. Thankfully, this one was uncommon. In November, the horse was being loaded into the horse trailer, like she had hundreds of times before. However, this time, she stumbled and fell off the trailer onto the pavement resulting in injury.
On November 2nd, 3.0 cc of RenoVō® allograft was implanted on the injury site. Eight weeks later, the wound was healed. |

RenoVō® CASE #2: BARBED WIRE FENCE ACCIDENT, PASTERN WOUNDS
patient: Blondie, barrel horse
Blondie became entangled in a barbed wire fence on June 10th, 2018. After examination and at the veterinarian's discretion, 3.0 cc of RenoVō® allograft was implanted around the wound.
RenoVō® CASE #1: SNAKE BITE WOUND
patient: High on koak, barrel racing horse
Barrel horse racing can be a dangerous sport, but nothing quite as dangerous as a snake bite wound.
High on Koak, a 13 year-old barrel racing horse, was scheduled to run in the World Barrel Racing League youth finals on the weekend of July 5th, 2018. She came in from the pasture on May 25th, 2018 with a fresh snake bite wound to the leg. What the barrel racing horse made up for in mass, the snake’s bite wound proved to be mightier. As a result, it quickly became obvious that High on Koak was in distress and limping. Upon further examination and diagnosis of a snake bite wound, an anti-inflammatory medication was administered. Now all they could do was watch and wait.
By June 6th, 2018, High on Koak wasn’t healing as quickly as needed and a veterinarian examined her and decided to add an antibiotic to the treatment plan. Nearly another week had passed and her lack of progress was troubling to her owner, so the veterinarian was called back out for a third examination. On June 12th, 2018, due to lack of progress, the veterinarian decided to implant 3.0 cc of RenoVō® allograft around the wound. The next 24-hours revealed a marked improvement in her condition and kicked off an expedited healing process.
Over the next two weeks, High on Koak was able to resume her daily routine showing little to no signs of her injury. She went on to compete at the Youth Finals in Memphis, TN the weekend of July 5th, 2018. She finished 9th out of 370 riders on the first day and 8th on the second day.
